Software for deal and portfolio teams.

What we do

Banks, private-equity firms and credit funds run on deals: the pipeline, the committee, the close, and the years of owning or lending to a company after it. That is the work we build for.

A deal leaves a long trail. There are the models, the memoranda and the credit agreements, and then, once it closes, a steady flow of monthly and quarterly reporting and compliance certificates from the company itself. Much of it still moves by hand: files copied from one folder to the next, figures pasted from one spreadsheet into another, and no reliable way to check them against each other, against the case the deal was approved on, or across a whole portfolio at once.

We build software for that trail. It starts from what a team already has (the model, the documents, the record of the deal) and keeps them in step with each other, so the people doing the work spend their time on judgment rather than retyping.

We think software for finance should be judged the way a model is judged: by whether its numbers hold up when someone checks them, a quarter or a year later.

How we work

Four rules shape what we make.

Precision
We build as if every figure will be checked, because in finance it will be.A tool that is fast but sometimes wrong costs more time than it saves.
Fit
Made to fit the systems a firm already runs.Systems of record take years to settle. Good software works within them rather than replacing them.
Privacy
We keep only what the work requires, and say plainly what that is.A firm's models and documents, and everything inside them, belong to the firm.
Durability
Built for the life of an investment or a loan, not the week of a close.A position can be held for a decade. Its record has to stay clear to whoever inherits it, long after the deal team has moved on.
